Kathleen Mitchell joins Rousseau

“The moment I played the ER50 Custom, I knew I’d found something special. It brought the sound I’ve always imagined to life—rich, nuanced, and deeply expressive. Technically agile and incredibly responsive, it has transformed not only my tone, but my connection to the music. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Rousseau is taking classical mouthpiece design in a bold, artist-driven direction. This isn’t just a new option—it’s a meaningful evolution. Inspiring, refined, and emotionally resonant, it stands apart in every way.”

She is deeply committed to creating opportunities for performers, conductors, and educators of all levels—an essential component of fostering an inclusive environment that encourages creativity, personal growth, and community engagement. The summit features a wide range of guest speakers, artists, and educators, many of whom are alumni of TCNJ’s saxophone studio. Notable guest artists have included Dr. Zach Stern, founding member of the Donald Sinta Quartet, and world-renowned performer and mouthpiece manufacturer Jody Espina.
