Rousseau Mouthpieces was proud to participate as a sponsor and exhibitor at the 2026 North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference, held at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. This premier event brought together saxophonists from across the country, including university professors, professional performers and students to celebrate artistry, education and innovation within the classical saxophone community.
This year’s conference saw strong attendance with approximately 1,500 participants over the course of the event, making it one of the most well-attended NASA Biennials in recent years. The diverse group of attendees created an engaging environment where established professionals and emerging artists were able to connect, collaborate and explore new developments in saxophone performance and pedagogy.
At the Rousseau exhibit booth, attendees had the opportunity to test a wide range of Rousseau and JodyJazz mouthpieces, with a particular focus on the new Rousseau Classic RC Series. The RC Series generated significant interest throughout the conference, with many players praising its responsiveness, tonal flexibility, and ease of play.
Several Rousseau Artists were in attendance, including Kenneth Tse, Nathan Mertens, Kyle Hutchins, David Nabb, Sarah Hetrick and Yiqun Chen. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with these artists, as well as engage with new performers and educators.
Rousseau’s participation in the 2026 NASA Biennial Conference reinforces our continued commitment to supporting the classical saxophone community and advancing the legacy of Dr. Eugene Rousseau. We look forward to building on the connections made at this year’s event and continuing to serve saxophonists around the world.
