Rousseau Mouthpieces is proud to have participated as a sponsor and exhibitor at the 2024 North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Biennial Conference, held at Oklahoma State University. This prestigious event brought together saxophonists from across the country to celebrate innovation, artistry, and education within the saxophone community.
The NASA Biennial Conference featured a dynamic array of performances, masterclasses, and clinics, offering a platform for saxophonists of all levels to engage with new repertoire and expand their skills. One of the key highlights of the event was the focus on accessibility and inclusivity within music, exemplified by Rousseau Artist Dr. David Nabb’s One-Handed Woodwinds Program. Dr. Nabb showcased his modified one-handed saxophone, drawing attention to his ongoing efforts to make music accessible to those with physical disabilities.
At the Rousseau exhibit booth, attendees had the opportunity to test our full range of Rousseau and JodyJazz mouthpieces and accessories, including the acclaimed ER50 Custom and Classic Alto models, which continue to be a favorite among classical saxophonists.
The NASA Biennial Conference was not only a celebration of musical excellence but also an opportunity to foster connections within the saxophone community. Our booth was consistently active throughout the event, allowing us to meet new artists and reconnect with long-time collaborators.
Rousseau’s participation in this year’s conference highlights our ongoing commitment to supporting saxophonists at every level and promoting inclusivity within the music community. We look forward to expanding our presence at future NASA events and continuing to collaborate with leading artists and educators.
